I have a passion for building programs within institutions. Starting at the Universidad Francisco Marroquin, in 2012, I was the first director of the undergraduate product design program. Then at the University of Wisconsin - Madison where I was the first manager of the Makerspace in the College of Engineering and an instructor in the newly launched Master of Design + Innovation program. In 2021 I joined the Product Design faculty at the Maryland Institute College of Art. 

My studio practice investigates how large and/or technical systems are in dialogue with the worlds of craft and art.

Much of the art work collected here is in collaboration with my partner and artist Hellen Ascoli.
